Q: How long have you been a wedding coordinator?
A: 13 years
Q: How many weddings have you coordinated?
A: Close to 1,500 weddings
Q: What makes your resort a great place for a destination wedding?
A: Sandos Finisterra is located at one of Cabo’s best spots, in the heart and soul of Cabo San Lucas at the marina, with shops and nightlife within walking distance. From the resort, you can enjoy beautiful views of both the Pacific ocean with its breathtaking sunsets and whales (during season) on one side and the town of Cabo San Lucas with the marina and Sea of Cortez on the other side. Our new mountain top terrace has become a favorite and has a 360 panoramic view. Our desert garden makes for very original wedding pictures or tie the knot on our wide beach with the stunning Pacific waves rolling in as the background.
Q: What are the challenges brides face when planning their destination wedding at your resort?
A: Because of the intimacy of the resort it’s important for larger groups of 80+ ppl to make sure to check availability of your room block before booking a specific wedding date. We offer a 14-day courtesy hold on your wedding date while you do so.
Q: What compliments do brides typically give about the resort?
A: They always speak about the service received, easy planning, best views and locations of the resort. We have tons of great comments and reviews about the great service our brides received from us.
Q: What is your favorite part of a destination wedding?
A: The best part is when you see the couple smiling and crying of happiness and when they say that this is the best day of their lives. This is my favorite and the sweetest part.

“I first came to Cabo back in the 80’s when it was still a quiet little fishing town for sport fishermen. I stayed at the Finisterra and bought a timeshare there. I went for many many years and took lots of friends. I absolutely loved it. Then I had my daughter and hadn’t been back since ’97. Now that my daughter is 23 and had never been to Cabo San Lucas I thought it would be a great time for her to see it. Never even considered any other place even though Finisterra was bought by Sandos and I knew nothing of the Sandos brand. The vibe of the Finisterra back then is still alive and well now. Terrific staff, very attentive and gracious. I live the Finisterra and as much as I worry about giving a great recommendation because it may mean limited availability in the future, I cannot hold back. I highly recommend Sandos Finisterra and it will always be the place I go when I’m in Cabo.” – Juanita Q. 4/19
“I stayed here for four days with my husband. We were there for a wedding! They have absolutely amazing food! The people who worked there were so attentive! Very clean! We will definitely be going back!” – Jeremy E. 7/17
“I just got back from my stay at Sandos. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the resort. We had blue wristbands which meant a few things were excluded but it didn’t bother us. When you’re paying for the all inclusive you’re really getting everything and there’s no hidden fees. We were greeted by every worker we past by. No complaints about the food, there’s definitely a wide variety of places to eat and it’s all spread apart which makes you feel almost like you’re in a little town and it allows you to explore. The drinks were outstanding and made very well everywhere we went. I highly recommend you to try the drink called “seduction” and Miami vice. This resort is in a prime location only being like a 5-10 minute walking distance to the marina and shops which was awesome. We’ll definitely be coming back in the years to come!” – Merita L. 6/17
“Great resort located on the beach. We were able to see whales jumping in the ocean while laying out at the pool. The staff was pretty friendly and accommodating. The food was ok, nothing to brag about but for an all inclusive we definitely got out moneys worth.” – Veranda R. 3/17
