With warmer weather finally upon us, there’s no better time to plan for your future beach vacations or destination weddings. All across the Caribbean, Mexico, and even Hawaii, you’ll find resorts ideal for soaking up the sun at, with unforgettable beaches, and perfectly designed pools. Our beach resorts have some of the most beautiful pools in the world, and they include everything from poolside service and swim-up bars to lazy rivers and ocean views. In this post, we’re going to cover 7 of our favorite resort pools, from family-friendly to adults-only.
RIU Palace Aruba

RIU Palace Aruba
Just like the palatial towers flanking both sides of the pool, the water features here are nothing to scoff at. Guests will love the canopy cabanas and plentiful beach chairs, all centered around the humongous pool. With an asymmetrical design, in-water lounge chairs, a lively atmosphere, and even a swim-up bar, the RIU Palace has everything needed for pool lovers.
Dreams Punta Cana

Dreams Punta Cana
As one of the largest free-form pools in the country, guests can explore the entire property, without ever leaving the water. The pool stretches from the lobby to the beach, complete with plenty of lounge chairs, lazy river elements, and a swim-up bar. In fact, the pool is so large you can see it from almost any point of the resort, and it rarely feels crowded even during the peak months for occupancy.
Breathless Riviera Cancun

Beyond the signature AM resort’s quality service and deluxe room accommodations, guests will find lavish pools to explore. On the Xhale side, for upgraded guests, you’ll find an alluring pool with ocean views and circular lounge cushions built into the pool. Over at the main pool, guests will find a rotating DJ schedule, weekly foam parties, and one end of the picture-ready poolside completely made of glass, offering see-thru views.
Turtle Bay Resort

Turtle Bay Resort
The main pool at Turtle Bay is a lagoon-inspired paradise, with ocean views, tropical flowers and swaying palm trees. Other unique features include a waterfall, waterslide for guests of any age, and two hot tubs on either end. Guests staying in the Villa Suites also have access to their own private pool, with barbecue pits. Both resort pools operate using saline, made of natural salt water, rather than chemically-based chlorine.
CHIC Punta Cana

CHIC Punta Cana
But for everyone else, there’s the signature pool complex to enjoy. With elegant white surfaces, bridges, private cabanas, and more, it’s a great place to catch the sunset. Hit a lively foam party, or simply enjoy the surroundings. For a truly Instagram-able moment, the “mermaid” pool features a glass picture frame cut out on one end of the pool, where your picture can be taken while you strike a pose underwater. At CHIC guests will enjoy a resort that takes sun-worshipping to a luxurious level.
Moon Palace Jamaica

Guests will get a glimpse of the four pools to explore from the second they enter the lobby, through a huge cinema-screen sized window, plus there is a kids’ pool too. Three of the pools feature swim-up bars, and there’s also a waterslide to hit, and a FlowRider wave simulator for the adventurous to boogie board on. Around each pool, you’ll find snack bars, sunbeds, and the friendly service Jamaica is known for.
Sandos Finisterra

Sandos Finisterra
The resort’s pools deserve to be just as iconic as the resort. Down along the beachfront portion of the resort you’ll find a humongous free-form pool, with thatched cabanas and desert fauna framing the ocean waters of the Baja Peninsula. Even though this pool should satisfy the most ardent pool fans, there’s another pool exclusively for those guests staying in the VIP suites. Here you will find a plunge pool with poolside service situated on a high cliffside atop the resort property, with jaw-dropping views of the marina.
