Situated on 30 lush acres on a hillside of St. Thomas sits the Sugar Bay Resort, perfect for a destination wedding. The resort overlooks the emerald waters of Water Bay to its north and St. John and the British Virgin Islands to its east. The shallow warm waters would be perfect for a Sugar Bay Beach Resort wedding ceremony backdrop, and also happens to be perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Due to Hurricane Irma, the property is currently undergoing renovation.
Water activities are plentiful without your guests having to leave the resort, from snorkeling to the interconnected fresh-water pools across the grounds.
The kids club is truly exceptional, with mini-golf outings and bumper boats to entertain younger wedding guests.
A Sugar Bay Beach Resort wedding features two beautiful ceremony venues. St. John’s terrace overlooks an island filled backdrop, and the beach venue is even closer to the action.
Vow renewal packages begin at $650. The entry-level wedding package is showcased above an example. Upgraded packages, additional guests, and add-ons are available for an additional cost for any Sugar Bay Beach Resort wedding.

“We loved this resort! Everyone was super nice and friendly. We did the all inclusive and loved it. Eating and drinking whenever at no extra cost was great. Room was super clean and well taken care of. Dinner was pretty good most of the time. not 5 star food but good enough to get your fill and get back to activities! We will for sure be going back! This was our Honeymoon and we enjoyed every minute of it at Sugar Bay Resort & Spa!!! Also, I know alot of reviews say there is little to no wifi, my wife and I had no issues connecting and staying connected once we got there. We didn’t pay our phones much attention anyways!” – Shaun H. 1/17
