How did Destify help you choose the perfect destination and resort for your wedding?

We always dreamed of having a beach wedding, though we weren’t exactly sure where. As we began researching beach wedding options, we discovered destination weddings. After careful consideration, we realized that a destination wedding would be more cost-effective than a traditional wedding in the States. We contacted several destination wedding travel companies but ultimately chose to work with Destify, and we’re so glad we did.

From start to finish, Destify made the entire process seamless. What was your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

One of our favorite moments from the wedding was the cocktail hour, where the saxophonist performed a special song just for us to share a dance.

What was your favorite experience at the wedding?

Our favorite moment was exchanging our vows in front of family and friends.

How was the experience for your guests, and what did they enjoy most about the wedding and destination?

Our guests thoroughly enjoyed our wedding; many of them are passionate travelers, so it was wonderful for them to celebrate our marriage while also enjoying a vacation experience. They mainly enjoyed the all-inclusiveness of the resort, and our guests enjoyed the reception too.

Looking back, what would you say to couples considering a destination wedding with Destify?

We would tell couples that are considering a destination wedding to “GO FOR IT!”. If you are looking for a budget-friendly option and you do not want the stress of having to coordinate the wedding by yourself, then destination is the best route. We certainly did not regret our choice, and we will always recommend it to anyone.

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

The ceremony took place on the beach, surrounded by our family and friends. Upon completion of the ceremony, we headed to the cocktail hour, followed by the reception. The reception was at the restaurant, The Bodega, at the resort.

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

The beach where we got married was actually located on the resort, rather than a beach off the resort. We loved that!

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

The staff provided us with an upgraded room, room service, and made the resort feel like a home. Did I mention free, unlimited cocktails? What more could we ask for?

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

The staff decorated our room after the reception with flowers and fruit. It was surreal.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

Initially, we were quite nervous about planning a destination wedding. We felt like the guinea pigs since no one in our immediate family or friend group had ever done one before. Naturally, we had concerns about the legitimacy of the process, whether guests would attend, and navigating the language barrier in a different country. However, Destify truly eased our worries by answering all of our questions and even reaching out to the resort on our behalf.

We did encounter a hiccup when we were assigned a new wedding coordinator just weeks before the big day. Without hesitation, we contacted Destify, and they ensured we received a prompt response from the resort. By maintaining consistent communication with our coordinator, our vision was beautifully brought to life. Everything came together perfectly.

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

Absolutely!

Lastly, do you have any advice for future couples?

Ultimately, it’s not about where you decided to get married or even how; it just matters that you do it all in LOVE!
