Destination wedding at Hyatt Ziva Cancun – review from Keia and DJ

The Couple

Keia and DJ met while playing basketball in school, and are high school sweethearts. For a surprise birthday party one year, DJ booked a hotel suite in downtown Toledo, Ohio. He proposed to her, and after all of her friends and family were there to celebrate.

The Planning

Together with their Destify agent, Michelle, the couple chose the Hyatt Ziva Cancun resort. It had the best reviews online and Keia said, “Working with Destify was perfect”. The wedding planning process with the Hyatt team proved easy and simple too.

The Wedding

The couple held their wedding ceremony at 5 pm at the gazebo with ocean views. After, there was a private reception featuring a DJ and food. Keia said, “My favorite moment was dancing the night away with friends and family!” The staff was so kind, and everything turned out exactly as the couple had envisioned.

Looking Back

The couple both agreed Hyatt was the way to go for their destination wedding. The location was truly remarkable, on a private stretch of the Cancun peninsula.
