Our guests were over joyed and beyond amazed with the resort. They said they were treated like royalty and couldn’t wait to return. They said the wedding was beautiful and elegant. The weather and sunset was beautiful. Having it on the beach really set the wedding off.

How was your ceremony and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

Our ceremony was truly an unforgettable experience. The ceremony was held at sunset on the beach, and it was more beautiful than I ever imagined. The weather was perfect, and everything came together so seamlessly. The coordinator had the songs correct. The chairs were decorated. Simply beautiful. We had a private dinner at Don Jaume Steakhouse.

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

What we loved most about getting married at the resort was the scenery. The sunset wedding at the beach was the picture perfect destination.

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

The amenities at our resort in Punta Cana truly made our wedding week feel like a dream. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautiful and well thought out—the pools, the beach, the restaurants—it all created the perfect backdrop for celebrating with our loved ones.

Our guests had so much to do, whether it was relaxing at the spa, enjoying the swim-up bar, or taking part in resort activities. It felt like a vacation for everyone, not just a wedding. The resort staff went above and beyond, making us feel special the entire week.

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

There were so many features at our resort in Punta Cana that made our ceremony and reception unforgettable. The ceremony was held right on the beach with the ocean as our backdrop—it was absolutely stunning. The setup was elegant but relaxed, exactly the vibe we wanted.

What really made it special was the attention to detail. The décor was beautifully done, the sound system was perfect, and the wedding team made sure everything ran smoothly.

For the reception, we had a private dinner at Don Jaume Steakhouse. The ambiance was beyond words. They had the lights dim with lighting on the table. They had our end of the table decorated with flowers from our wedding colors. The food was amazing, the drinks kept flowing. It truly felt like our own little paradise celebration. The servers were attentive and friendly. They served us in a timely manner.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

At first, the idea of planning a destination wedding felt a little overwhelming. I wasn’t sure where to start, how to coordinate everything from afar, or how it would all come together. My biggest advice to future couples is: don’t stress the small stuff and trust the process. Planning a destination wedding might feel intimidating at first, but with the right team—like Destify—it all comes together beautifully.

Be clear about your vision, but stay open-minded too. The resort teams are professionals and they truly know how to make your day magical. Also, enjoy the journey! From the planning to the travel to the big day itself, it all goes by so fast. Take time to soak it in, celebrate each moment, and remember that this experience is about starting your life together—everything else is just the beautiful bonus.
