Tramaine and Shannon’s wedding in Puerto Vallarta was held at Grand Fiesta Americana, adults-only all-inclusive resort this past June. The couple loved that the destination was same-sex friendly and ideal for gay weddings, and it offered a unique treat for all of their wedding guests. The Destify Couple went with an “all-white” theme, from the wedding ceremony to the reception, with the entire bridal party and many of the guests taking part in the theme.
The couple originally met working in the film industry. On their one-year anniversary, the couple had a unique double proposal, and only their moms knew that they both had planned to propose to each other. Their wedding in Puerto Vallarta included a dinner rehearsal, and wedding ceremony on the Presidential Suite’s balcony, and a full private reception with a DJ and 3-course dinner.
The Grand Fiesta Americana adults-only resort sits on prime real estate in Puerto Vallarta, with nearby access to downtown, and modern and contemporary design throughout. The wedding ceremony venues take full advantage of the location, like the elegant beach, or the sunset deck with sweeping views of the surrounding mountain range. Guests can enjoy numerous bars, lounges, and several gourmet a-la-carte restaurants that run a variety of cuisines.
Tramaine and Shannon’s wedding featured hundreds of white roses, hydrangeas and orchids, and white draping as decor. The couple held their ceremony at 8pm, the “magic hour” when the golden light of the sunset was at its peak. Sinai Martinez Rodriguez, with the wedding department, says one of the reasons Grand Fiesta Americana is so appealing is because “Our resort is one of the most attractive and sought after hotels to be found anywhere in Banderas Bay.”
