Resort Insights

“The most charming and idyllic place I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The building itself is brimming with the level of character only attained by heritage buildings. The grounds are clean and well-maintained and the staff friendly, accommodating and professional. Prior to having stayed here, on trips to Hawaii as a child, I distinctly remember always adoring “The Pink Hotel,” largely because I was a little girl and it’s a pink castle-like building. But being able to stay there some years later, I can honestly say it was every bit as charming and endearing as I imagined as a girl.” – Hayden M. 3/19

“Mai Tai’s at sunset. Nothing better! Best patio on the beach in Waikiki. The drinks are awesome and the atmosphere is superb. I have been coming back here for over 35 years. It is a must do each time I visit. The patio has amazing views of Diamond Head and the ocean breeze is always lovely. Hawaiian music and hula dancing is just right. The hotel lobby is an experience all its own. A place to sit and rest from the usual frenetic Waikiki pace.” – Kate W. 9/17

“Breakfast was a bit pricey, but very delicious. We did the breakfast buffet, and it came with a choice of entree, which is nice, though unneeded with a buffet and probably contributed to the pricey-ness. I would have liked more options at the buffet, but everything they did have was fantastic. Worth trying once if you are in the area.” – Kurt V. 9/17

“Great hotel. It is located right on the beach with a spacious swimming pool within walking distance of it. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. It is conveniently located near popular shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.” – Rashaan H. 8/17

“Very nice resort. It has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Great restaurants. We loved the Mai Tai bar and Azure restaurant. We loved the flower decorations. They upgraded our room at no charge. Overall a wonderful experience.” – Simona C. 8/17
