“My husband and I stayed at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach at the end of May 2019. The beach was breath-taking. Loved the staff, all the bartenders were so nice. So many great drink and food options. Went to two of the restaurants on the resort, and both were so so lovely. This was my first time going to the beach or an ocean, and it was the best. Shout out to the animation team, the nightly shows were AMAZING. The room was the only downside, but we didn’t go to stay in the room. Next time I will upgrade the room, yes we plan to go again.” – Christa R. 8/19
“We held our wedding ceremony and spent our honeymoon at this resort. We arrived with a group of 11 hot, sweating and hungry. There was mix up with our booking and the front desk had to quickly find five rooms for our guests. Incredibly they managed to get upgraded, ocean front rooms with a $20 per guest fee. It was our mistake so we were so happy it was resolved.
The wedding was very relaxed and elegant. Our guest room was near the gazebo where we said our vows, so only a few steps for the bridal party. Thank you to Yessy for seeing to all the details!
There is a lot of walking to get around the resort, however we liked that it didn’t feel crowded and the grounds are beautiful. The drinks are unlimited, but tip your bartender, and they will remember you and your favorite drink.
The food was above average. We dined at all three restaurants, but I preferred the food in the Junkanoo Buffet. Breakfast was the best with made to order omelettes and be sure to try the Junkanoo soda. The water activities at the resort are a must do. We did the snorkeling excursion to Peterson’s Reef, and observed numerous species of brightly colored tropical fish. And kayaking out into the crystal clear water was amazing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we plan to return.” – Delicia H. 7/19
