The Couple

Brett and Yolanda met through work. Brett proposed during a staycation. When she arrived at the hotel, there were candles throughout the room, with a box on the bed. When she opened it there was a note that said, “Will you marry me?” and she turned to find Brett on one knee proposing.

The Planning

Together with their Destify agent, Hilary, they chose the Dreams Punta Cana resort, in the Dominican Republic. Yolanda said, “Hilary was awesome and easy to work with”. The resort’s wedding department was easy to work with as well, and the planning process was simple.

The Wedding

The couple stayed at the resort for 10 days, featuring plenty of time to enjoy the scenic resort and all of the delicious restaurants and exciting pools. The couple held their ceremony at 6pm at the colonial-like wedding gazebo. Yolanda said, “It was beautiful and perfect”. After the ceremony, the couple hosted a reception for their wedding party, featuring food and drinks.

Looking Back

The couples’ advice is not to stress. The wedding team helps you throughout the entire process. They both agreed that destination weddings are the best.
