We worked with Danilka. With expert guidance and patience, she guided us through every detail from the moment we met her. Our big day was seamless thanks to her management of all our vendors, keeping our timeline on track, and anticipating every need. Throughout the planning process, her attention to detail was impeccable, making our dream wedding a reality. We would highly recommend Danilka for a perfect wedding day

What was it like working with Destify?

It was an amazing experience with Destify! Planning a wedding trip can be stressful, but thanks to the team I was assigned, our journey to Punta Cana was smooth and stress-free! Destify was a great platform that is easy to use, with plenty of resources to help us choose our ideal destination. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. One of the highlights was the personalized wedding website created for us with all the necessary information including the resort, travel details, and hotel booking for our guests. It also helped us keep organization of our party. Whenever we struggled to get a hold of the resort or had any other issues, there was always an agent available to assist and solve the problem.

Your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

Listening to my husband’s vows was one of my favorite moments during our wedding. Although he is known to be a man of few words, he poured his heart out to me in front of our family and friends on that day. Also, the moment he FINALLY saw me in my wedding dress! Keeping this from him was impossible, and by his look, I could tell immediately it was perfect.

What surprised you the most about the resort or venue?

It provided a luxurious and relaxing environment for all guests to fully enjoy the celebration without needing to leave the property.

Your favorite experience at the wedding?

Our favorite experience at the wedding would be adding the LED Stilt Walkers. They helped get the party started by handing out LED sticks and dancing with the guests. Our guests including my 88 year old grandfather could not stop raving about them!

Would you do a destination wedding again?

I absolutely loved our destination wedding and truly believe our guests did too. Since I’m Dominican and my husband admires this country, it felt very special to begin our unity here. We also had a pretty high RSVP rate and our guests were so excited to travel. Our goal was to be able to have quality time with everyone and not have any people we didn’t love there, and it ended up being that exact vision.

We made sure everyone felt valued not only through the time we spent with them but also had a welcome party and farewell yacht cruise, as well as a lot of little touches to essentially thank people for traveling and spending more time and money than they would’ve at a non-destination wedding. We had so many people thank us for having our wedding away and giving them a bit of a vacation.
