The Couple

Mily and Hector met through a mutual friend and began dating shortly after. Hector would go on to propose during a family event, with many of their loved ones in attendance. The couple knew they wanted a destination wedding after seeing an example in person on a trip to Mexico.

The Planning

The couple selected the Dreams Riviera Cancun resort with their Destify agent Andrea, after seeing the resort, and a live wedding in person. They fell in love with the resort and were able to observe a ceremony, reception, and the attentive staff working hard behind the scenes. Working with Destify was easy, and Mily said, “It was simple and very organized”. Working with the wedding team was easy too. The communications were clear and they were able to maintain their budget.

The Wedding

The couple held their wedding ceremony at the pool gazebo at 5 pm. After sunset, some pesky mosquitos forced the couple to move their reception indoors, to a banquet hall. The reception included food and music, and the ceremony itself was amazing.
