What was the cost of your wedding package?
$7,500 was the base cost of the package for up to 79 guests.
Did you add any upgrades?
Yes, we got an outside photographer, flowers, and centerpieces, upgraded our chairs, added string lights, and extended the ceremony time. The total cost was around $25k.
What was it like working with the wedding coordinator?
Our wedding coordinator was very sweet, however, communication was tough leading up to the wedding. Everything turned out great but you really need to trust the process as final details are decided about 1 month ahead of the wedding and you have to follow up a lot on emails.
What was it like working with Destify?
Destify helped pick our resort and our guests seemed to like the website to be able to reserve their room and pay in installments. Email communication was great as well.
Your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?
The whole week was truly amazing. I think walking down the aisle and seeing each other and all our family so happy was the most magical part.
What surprised you the most about the resort or venue?
Our welcome party. We did not give too much instruction other than we wanted it to be a taco bar with homemade tortillas and the setup was gorgeous and surpassed our expectations.
What was your favorite experience at the wedding?
Dancing the night away with all of our favorite people in the world.
Would you do a destination wedding again?
1000%! So many guests said this is the way to do a wedding. We want to do a family/friends trip each year now on our anniversary.
