Cost of Wedding Package? Did you add any upgrades?

$1,250 but was comped depending on the total rooms booked at the resort. Upgrades were bride and bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces for the reception table, and corsages.

How did Destify help you choose the perfect destination and resort for your wedding?

Destify assisted us by having the best 5-star resorts available on their website. In Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, not all resorts were featured, but those that were are beautiful.

What was your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

Meeting my husband at the end of the aisle, and him signaling for me to come on. It was so beautiful seeing him awaiting his bride.

What was your favorite experience at the wedding?

Husband: Seeing my wife once I turned around.

Wife: saying “I Do” in front of family and friends.

How was the experience for your guests, and what did they enjoy most about the wedding and destination?

The all-inclusive resort has a butler to assist with your every need. For the wedding, our guests enjoyed the champagne upon leaving the beach, the cocktail hour and finger foods, and dancing the night away at the reception.

Looking back, what would you say to couples considering a destination wedding with Destify?

It’s worth it! You have someone to assist you with your every need, and if your resort doesn’t respond, Destify will reach out on your behalf. Destination weddings are a lot more fun, and your guests will enjoy the getaway!

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

Our ceremony was held at the beach gazebo, and our reception was indoors in the resort’s ballroom.

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

The beach gazebo and seeing the set-up. Everything was beautiful! My wedding team executed things well.

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

We decorated our room with Just Married signs, and we entered our room full of rose petals. Very romantic. During the week, EVERYONE knew we were the bride and groom.

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

The ceremony was set up on the beach, and the decorations were great. Seeing the beautiful blue water behind us was breathtaking.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

I was ecstatic to plan a destination wedding, and Destify simplified it by having a website available for my guest to book and pay at their leisure.

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

Absolutely!

Lastly, do you have any advice for future couples?

If you’re thinking about planning a destination wedding… plan it! You’ll enjoy EVERY moment, and you’ll have a vacation in the midst of a wedding. The resort handles everything, and aside from a few meetings, you’ll enjoy your resort, and on the day of the wedding, your guests will get to enjoy you and your husband/wife.
