How did Destify help you choose the perfect destination and resort for your wedding?

They gave me a bunch of different options and also helped me with timing based on weather patterns and our timeline.

What was your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

At our ceremony, he gave me his right instead of his left hand, and you can hear me and the photographer say “wrong hand”; it was cute and funny since we were both nervous.

What was your favorite experience at the wedding?

Honestly, the whole day was amazing. I loved the speeches our family gave. I laughed and cried a lot.

How was the experience for your guests, and what did they enjoy most about the wedding and destination?

I think everyone had a great time. Our guests always looked like they were enjoying themselves, even outside of the wedding festivities.

Looking back, what would you say to couples considering a destination wedding with Destify?

The booking process was super easy, and they were great at accommodating changes even up until the last minute.

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

The ceremony was great (it was hot in the DR). Reception was at the Seaside Sky Terrace at Dreams Macao, and the views were stunning!

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

I loved that there was so much attention to detail, and the entire resort was beautiful. So many places for amazing photos.

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

We booked a master suite swim-out in the preferred club. I will say the added perks of the preferred club and the private pool were awesome. Our butler decorated the room for my husband’s birthday, which was the night before our wedding, so it was all very special.

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

It was absolutely beautiful, the entire property. It was also nice that they brought me on a golf cart to the ceremony since it was so hot. Honestly, the whole day was perfect. The view from our reception space was insanely beautiful.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

I was nervous at first, but the closer we got to the big day, a lot of that subsided.

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

Yes, I made the right decision.

Lastly, do you have any advice for future couples?

Let the resort wedding department do their thing. This is what they do all day every day. They have it under control!
