The Couple

Karlee and Eric’s journey began at the University of Idaho, where the Vandals sparked a connection and an eventual relationship. After dating for some time, Eric dropped to a knee and proposed to Karlee at a lush park on the lake of his hometown, Mercer Island, Washington.

The Planning

The couple chose RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas, an award-winning wedding oasis prospering on the Baja Peninsula. Inspired by one of their friends’ weddings at the property earlier in the year, Karlee and Eric instantly jumped at the chance to book the resort’s luxurious halls.

The Wedding

Forgoing a rehearsal dinner, the couple and their guests sailed the high seas on their own pirate ship, gallivanting around the Cabo shores. At the resort, the wedding party indulged in the finer things in life: delectable oceanfront meals, shimmering infinity pools, and elegant suites.

The following day, the couple held a breathtaking ceremony at Golden Hour at RIU Palace Los Cabos’ Gazebo venue. Complete with a stunning backdrop of azure ocean waves and a charismatic minister, Karlee and Eric tied the knot at the ceremony of their dreams. After saying “I Do,” the couple hosted a fabulous beachside reception at the resort’s steakhouse. A night bursting with mouthwatering cuisine and bubbly toasts, the couple’s reception was nothing short of perfect. Citing the resort’s on-site wedding department, Karlee gushed, “Our wedding coordinator at the hotel was amazing and did everything the day of. They sectioned the venues off for us and made it as private as they could.”
