The Couple
Jherricka and Tye met while working for the same company. The couple spent their workdays together, supporting each other through each week. After dating for some time, Tye proposed to Jherricka on top of the iconic Reunion Tower, overlooking the stunning Dallas skyline.
The Planning
The couple chose Secrets Cap Cana, an adults-only resort on the Punta Cana coastline. Desiring a relaxed Dominican Republic wedding, the couple fell in love with the property’s tantalizing seascapes. Working with Destify was incredible before and during the pandemic despite the trouble.
Given the circumstances, the couple felt the process went as smoothly as possible. Encountering minor on-site coordination issues due to COVID, Jherricka and Tye were still able to plan an unforgettable wedding with plenty of exciting activities.
The Wedding
The wedding started with a rousing, champagne-filled welcome toast for every guest. Taking full advantage of their surroundings, the couple booked a party cruise via Amstar. After a splendid voyage, Jherricka and Tye hosted a dazzling rehearsal dinner next to the ocean.
The wedding was held on a cloudless Saturday afternoon at 5pm at a sun-soaked beach venue. An intimate wedding of 10 guests, the ceremony was graced with a mouth-dropping rainbow during the proceedings. The reception followed shortly after at the top-rated El Patio, where an extraordinary night awaited the party. The newlyweds truly appreciated their photographer and said, “We were very pleased with their services and ability to create such a meaningful collection of photos from our special day.”
Looking Back
The couples’ advice for future couples is to trust the process. Raving about her stellar services, Jherricka and Tye highlighted the role of on-site coordinators. Tye said, “It was easy to accommodate the small group of people. We were very impressed by the service and everyone loved the wedding cake the most.”
