We added Lighting/Audio Equipment, a Churro bar and an upgraded bouquet. I think we spent about $4000

How did Destify help you choose the perfect destination and resort for your wedding?

We knew we wanted Mexico but Destify made Puerto Vallarta seem very romantic (which it was).

What was your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

We spent a few moments together after the ceremony and it was very special.

What was your favorite experience at the wedding?

Dancing with all my friends at the reception

How was the experience for your guests, and what did they enjoy most about the wedding and destination?

The FOOD. It was so good. We have had dozens of people comment to us about how incredible the food was. We did the BBQ option and the Mahi Mahi was unreal. Also the Churro Bar was a huge hit.

Looking back, what would you say to couples considering a destination wedding with Destify?

Every Destination is beautiful- its more about who you invite. Make sure is people who support you because you’ll need support the most on that special day. Things will go array but if you have good people with you the day will still be amazing.

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

We were supposed to be married on the beach and have our reception at the Splash Terrace- well that was completely canceled due to a Hurricane! But Candyce- Fili and Jesus made sure to have a back up plan- we were able to move the entire event inside to a ball room. Even though the day was literally the opposite of what I planned and dreamed, it turned out incredible and I’m grateful we had options. The onsite staff went over the top to make up for the fact there was a literal hurricane happening outside. Everything was decorated and intimate and we really ended up loving everything.

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

Having all our friends and family in the same place. Spending time with people prior and post wedding was the best part.

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

It was great to have priority reservation options for the restaurants. The staff also decorated our room almost daily. So that was really nice.

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

We loved all the games and Volleyball court on the beach. It was also very fun to be able to jump in a kayak or boogie board.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

I was skeptical but I would forsure do it again. Ana and Candyce made sure I didn’t forget important things that I hadn’t even considered initially. They also didn’t push me- I never felt like I was sitting with a sales rep just trying to make money off me. They genuinely wanted to give me what I wanted. It was a fantastic experience.

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

100 times over I would definitely do this again.

Where did you purchase your wedding dress or attire from?

Even though our wedding was literally the opposite of what I dreamed of and planned. I really appreciated how hard Fili and Jesus & Candyce worked to make sure we were happy. I was definitely disappointed not to get married on the beach but of course things don’t always go as planned. And I felt like they did everything to make up for the bad weather.
