The Couple

Imani and Walter met while working at a sneaker store together, After some time dating Walter would propose at the national harbor in Maryland. It was at the Gaylord Hotel, with their parents present.

The Planning

The couple loves Mexico, and Cabo was their ideal choice for a destination wedding. Together with their Destify agent, Steffani, they chose the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, an all-inclusive resort. Imani said, “Working with Steffani took a lot of the pressure and responsibility off of myself”. The wedding team at Hyatt made sure they ensured everything would go exactly how the couple envisioned for their wedding.

The Wedding

The couple hosted wedding events Thursday through Sunday for their guests. There was also plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful resort and all of the amenities. On Friday, they held a welcome party at the resort’s sports bar. They loved spending four days with their closest family and friends.

The couple held their ceremony at 5:30 pm at the resort’s wedding gazebo, with ocean views. They took photos afterward. Imani said, “The wedding process was seamless between Destify and Hyatt, everything was exactly how I wanted”. The additional decor, and entertainment packages really added to the experience for everyone. There was a DJ, dancing, and of course, plenty of delicious food. The weather cooperated perfectly too.

Looking Back

The couples’ advice is to soak up every moment, as it all goes by so fast. Enjoy each moment, it will fly by. Spending so much time together with loved ones was the perfect way to celebrate as newlyweds.
