$9,500. We upgraded the lighting and some decorations, and had 46 guests.

How did Destify help you choose the perfect destination and resort for your wedding?

Destify reached out to me, asked my preferences on resort location and type, and then created a list of places for me to look at and choose from or ask for more. I chose one from the first round of lists, and it was perfect!

What was your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

Our vows at our symbolic ceremony were very beautiful and my favorite parts of everything, because what we said meant so much.

What was your favorite experience at the wedding?

Everyone loved our wedding, and hearing how much fun everyone had was my favorite thing.

How was the experience for your guests, and what did they enjoy most about the wedding and destination?

They loved the wedding, a lot said it’s the best wedding they’ve been to. They loved how big and versatile the resort was, and the alcoholic drinks available.

Looking back, what would you say to couples considering a destination wedding with Destify?

I would say try them out! I was skeptical at first, but the reviews made me feel better, and I liked having a contact person besides just the resort.

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

Amazing! Both were beautiful and perfect. I wish we could do it again.

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

I loved how easy it was. I wasn’t stressed at all and just excited. They did everything for me, including set up and clean up. I didn’t have to do anything, and neither did my guest,s which was our goal.

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

There was so much to do that we were never sitting bored!

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

The vows and the intimacy of the location.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

I was nervous, and the open communication and advocacy Destify did for me was amazing. I hate ruffling feathers and loved to have someone I could ask to reach out to the resort for me.

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

Yes!

Lastly, do you have any advice for future couples?

Do the destination wedding! It is worth it and so much better than local. Everyone had a blast, and the people you care about and care about you show up; no one goes just because “it’s a wedding”. And the lack of stress because they do it all is a game changer. I would do it all over again if I could get married twice to my husband!
