Chuck and Alysha’s Wedding at Hyatt Ziva Cancun

The Couple

On a girl’s night with friends, Alysha was coerced into creating a Tinder account, and the group created a drinking game out of it. If you got a match, you had to take a drink. One of her very first matches was Chuck, who was actually messaging from Charlotte in preparation for his move to Denver. On his very first day in Denver, he took out Alysha on their first date, on what would become their time together forever.

Chuck proposed on the 4th of July with friends. Chuck and his friend left the festivities early to buy champagne in preparation for watching the fireworks from their apartment rooftop. He came in on one knee after the fireworks had started and proposed to her in front of all their closest friends.

The Planning

Together with their Destify agent, Krista, the couple selected the Hyatt Ziva resort in Cancun. The resort offers plenty for guests to do, from a-la-carte restaurants to multiple pools, and many ceremony venues to choose from. The couple selected the Lavish and Opulent package and chose to add further entertainment and decor to their ceremony and reception.

The Wedding

The couple hosted their ceremony at 6 pm on the cliffside gazebo. This stunning location features amazing ocean views. After, they hosted a private reception, with delicious food and a DJ and dancefloor.
