The Couple
Vivian and Brandon met on the dating app Plenty of Fish. He proposed on a trip to Hawaii, where they were visiting her best friend. They went on a 3-hour hike to Likeke Falls and he proposed by the waterfall.
The Planning
The couple knew they wanted their wedding in Cancun, and their Destify agent Tiffany shared many options. They chose the Royalton Riviera Cancun resort because they fell in love with the sky terrace ceremony venue. The wedding planning was self-explanatory and simple. They loved the cost per night per guest, and the modern suites the resort offered.
The Wedding
The couple stayed at the resort for 7 days enjoying the resort, and all of its amenities. They held their ceremony at 3pm on the sky terrace, with ocean views. One of the funniest moments was when a grasshopper jumped on her dress and the maid of honor shooed it away before the ceremony started. Due to the threat of rain they had to move their reception indoors to one of the resort’s restaurants, but luckily it still turned out beautifully.
Looking Back
It’s stressful to plan a destination wedding, so the couple agreed to not overstress or overdo it. Try your best to enjoy every moment. This was advice they were given, and it helped them have a much more enjoyable destination wedding.
