Favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

“The reception, having the mariachi band play and us dancing.”

What surprised you about your resort? Your wedding venue?

“Our wedding planner Leticia Elisa Villalba Lara went above and beyond. The florists painted a flower to try and match the color I really wanted and Elisa brought the sample to me to approve. The flowers/huppa set up was gorgeous! We were beyond impressed with the arrangements, fresh beautiful roses, the huppa, reception table with flowers was more than imagined.”

What was your favorite thing you experienced on your wedding day?

“People (resort guests) were coming out of the pool to watch our wedding in the garden. Camera phones out all over, from the balconies, it was magical hearing them cheer when the ceremony concluded.”

What was the best thing you ate?

“My family is still raving about our cake! We chose a marble cake with fruit on top and cheesecake on the bottom. Our regret was not eating more of it!”

What was the coolest activity you took part in?

“The cenotes and lagoon was a beautiful excursion, thanks to Destify! I was nervous about snorkeling but that was the best, most beautiful experience I’ve ever had snorkeling.”

What are you most excited about, coming home as a married couple?

“We didn’t want to leave but were excited to return home and review the pictures and videos!”

Would you do a destination wedding all over again if you had to?

“Absolutely. Was the best decision. No regrets. We want a re-do to experience the fun all over! Friends and family are already planning to return.”
