How did Destify help you choose the perfect destination and resort for your wedding?

I reached out to Destify because I was overwhelmed with options and didn’t know where to begin. Lauren was amazing at helping me find my budget and gave me options within my budget. She helped me see my perfect wedding come to life. She made booking the room block and setting up my website a breeze.

What was your favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

Marrying him, of course! I enjoyed the little moments we took for ourselves throughout the day. Everything went so fast, we knew we needed to take time to breathe together.

What was your favorite experience at the wedding?

I enjoyed having all my closest friends and family in one place, having the time of their lives. It was so special for my husband and me to know everyone was having just as good of a time as we were.

How was the experience for your guests, and what did they enjoy most about the wedding and destination?

They gave nothing but great feedback. They enjoyed that they got a vacation as well as seeing us get married. Mexico is romantic already, but so is being at an adults-only all-inclusive resort.

Looking back, what would you say to couples considering a destination wedding with Destify?

Do it! The people who want to be there will make it a priority and make it happen. Destify knows how to uncomplicate the planning.

How was your ceremony, and did you have a reception? Where was your reception?

Our ceremony was short and sweet. We did private vows the morning of, on the beach, just him and me before the chaos started. The beach was a perfect photo backdrop. The reception was overlooking the sunset on the terrace

What did you love most about getting married at your resort?

We loved the upgraded butler service! They tended to our every need. We wanted a stress-free week, not only for us but also for our guests, so adults-only was a must. The staff was friendly, and the bartenders were very attentive.

How did the amenities at your resort make your wedding week special?

Our butlers arranged private transportation for 30 people for our excursion. They also decorated our room for our wedding night, which made us feel very special.

What features of your resort made your ceremony or reception memorable?

Our wedding coordinator answered every question and concern we had. I enjoyed giving guidance, but also letting the professionals guide us, too! The waiters and bartenders were perfect and spot on with refills and offering more food.

How did you feel about planning a destination wedding at first, and in what ways did our team help simplify the process and bring your vision to life?

Cancún was the first thing my husband and I agreed on for the wedding. We live in Las Vegas, so we still wanted the fun but a different kind of fun from our normal. I felt overwhelmed and anxious to start planning. We took a year to plan, and I felt behind from the start. Destify simplified the process by getting to know me and my husband. Asking questions about us and what we want to see on our day. Seeing the options in our price range was very helpful.

Knowing what you know, would you do a destination wedding again?

Absolutely!

Lastly, do you have any advice for future couples?

Weddings bring out the best and worst in those around you; don’t let the bad outweigh the good. As long as your partner is standing by your side, then it’s going to be perfect! At some point, everything is already paid for and planned, so by then, everything is out of your hands, and what happens is what is meant to happen. Have fun, celebrate your marriage, and love!
