Favorite wedding moment with your spouse?

“My favorite moment was seeing him at the end of the aisle with tears on his cheeks. I have never seen him cry in our entire relationship and it was so special! I wiped the tears from his cheeks and the photo captured of that moment nearly brings me to tears all over again.”

What surprised you about your resort? Your wedding venue?

“I was surprised at just how stunning the beach was! I had seen many photos, but when you arrive, you realize the photos don’t do it justice.”

What was your favorite thing you experienced on your wedding day?

“My favorite experience at the wedding was getting to spend 3 full days with so many of our close friends and family, and for everyone to be able to get to know each other. We got to spend so much more time with everyone than we would have at a traditional wedding.”

What was the best thing you ate?

“We had the most delicious chocolate cake at one of the restaurants the day after the wedding, decorated with congratulations, and rose petals all over our table.”

What was better – sunrises or sunsets?

“The sunrise was unbelievable – right outside our hotel room we could walk 20 steps to the beach. We enjoyed the sunrise in our hotel robes just sitting together early in the morning.”

What was the coolest activity you took part in?

“We took our bridal party on a private catamaran the day before the wedding which was great! Food, drinks, and beautiful water to relax in.”

What are you most excited about, coming home as a married couple?

“I’m most excited to start our family together 💕”

Would you do a destination wedding all over again if you had to?

“I 100% would do a destination wedding again! There was so much less stress, less coordination to have to do, it was much less expensive, and it was a built in vacation for my husband and I as well as our friends and family. Everything turned out so smoothly thanks to Destify leading up to the day, and beautifully the weekend of thanks to Sandos Playacar and the wedding team.”
