Wedding costs can be high in Papagayo, and across Costa Rica, simply due to the destination, which is further south than many of the more affordable Caribbean locations, like Mexico or the Dominican Republic. Although your Papagayo wedding package may be affordable, it’s the travel and room rates that may add up, for both you and your wedding guests. Consider booking during the slower months for travel, or during weekdays to save big.
