Resort Insights

“A wonderful all inclusive adults only resort located in the Bahamas on Paradise Island. First class accommodations and food. Beautiful beach with two pools. One of which is a swim up bar. Pristine hotel with ocean views. A terrific getaway.” – Tom H. 3/20

“I LOVED IT HERE FOR MY HONEYMOON AND WILL BE BACK! so first off, before I say anything else, I highly encourage to join the Riu Palace Paradise Island Facebook group. It’s a very interactive where you can learn the ins and out of not only this resort, but Atlantis next door as well was The Bahamas in general. As for the resort itself, I was more than happy. Beautiful, clean facility and rooms. Great food at the buffet and the restaurants. We did try each one. The cafe is also a nice option. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The pool was fun with the swim up bar or you could opt for the larger, quieter one. The beach was grand! Beautiful white sand and clear blue water. I don’t mind the people walking selling stuff because it’s how they make a living. We did do a lot of walking through Atlantis which is so close. We spent time at the straw market and ate at local venues as well. We met so many other vacationers who come back year and after year and I clearly see why!” – Liz A. 1/20

“You’re greeted promptly as you arrive with a nice cold glass of rum punch. The hotel has been nicely renovated and is very open and bright. There are several restaurants here and the food is great. You have access to the beach and every room has an ocean view. The hotel is a little humid on the inside and the beds could use a pillow top cover. But other than that, it’s a really nice place. Adults only.” – Kristina F. 5/18

“We stayed at the Riu Paradise Island for 8 days, and had the best time ever! We had an issue last year at this resort and spoke with the manager, Nicolas Portanet, and he wanted to make it right and told us to contact him before returning this year. Well, we did just that, and Nicolas definitely took care of us! His hospitality was second to none! We love the staff at the Riu – they are like family to us and are one of the reasons we keep coming back to the Bahamas year after year. The renovations are beautiful and the food is wonderful! We didn’t try the Indian restaurant, but the other specialty restaurants were very good, and the buffet is always outstanding! We are planning on returning next year with the whole family and are very excited to show off the ‘new’ Riu!! – Lynn M. 5/18

“Can’t wait to go back. It was a wonderful vacation. We were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Our room was beautiful. We couldn’t ask for better. The food was good to. Also, no kids.” – Arlene M. 5/18
