Today on the blog we’re featuring Mandy and Nick’s destination wedding at Royalton Blue Waters in Montego Bay Jamaica. The Destify Couple held their wedding ceremony on a Sunday last March, amongst the beautiful island nation known for its Caribbean culture and Reggae vibes. Mandy and Nick love hiking and taking their husky Hank with them on their hikes. During one special hike, Nick proposed on one of their favorite trails in Stony Brook. She stopped to give the dog some water, and when she turned back around Nick was on one knee. They chose a destination wedding because it sounded like the perfect way to bring their families together from across the country.
The couple chose the Royalton Blue Waters resort in Jamaica. It’s a newer generation resort with superb architecture and has access to beautiful cerulean waters. There’s a private man-made island to explore, a beautiful pool complex, and guests also have exchange privileges with neighboring Royalton White Sands. Wedding ceremony venues range from the Gazebo to the man-made island and beachfront.
The couple held their ceremony on the beach at sunset. The wedding festivities included a cocktail hour with live music and a private reception with delicious food and a DJ. Once the reception was over, the couple returned to their suite to find it had been romantically decorated, including a drawn bath with rose petals and champagne at the ready.
