Kevin and Lindsey’s Wedding at Dreams Tulum was held this past July. The Destify Couple wanted a central location that provided a secluded property, but included easy travel time from the Cancun International Airport. Kevin originally proposed during a special getaway to Orcas Island, in Seattle, after a beautiful day of whale watching. Since many of their family members are spread across the United States, a destination wedding sounded like the perfect fit.
The couple chose the Dreams Tulum all-inclusive resort, near the exciting region of Riviera Maya, on Mexico’s Caribbean coast. The resort really offered the opportunity for guests to enjoy their vacation too. The Dreams Tulum resort offers numerous wedding ceremony venues to explore, like the secret garden, or the small and intimate chapel. There is plenty for guests of any age to enjoy, from a supervised kid’s club to an adults-only section, and every room features a hammock on the balcony.
Kevin and Lindsey’s wedding was held in the secret garden, and after the ceremony, they hosted a cocktail hour there too. Following the ceremony, they hosted a private reception on the beach, featuring delicious food and a DJ. The couple and their guests took full advantage of their location too, with many guests visiting nearby attractions, like the Mayan ruins. The couple also hosted a dinner rehearsal off-site in downtown Tulum, so their guests could experience even more of the local culture.
