Adam and Racheal’s wedding at Hotel Xcaret utilized beautiful cenotes, private lagoons, and cave-like reception venues. Adam originally proposed during a special day in Detroit, in front of the Coleman Building, and ending at the Whitney Mansion where friends and family had gathered to celebrate. The Destify Couple chose the resort because it provided a magical escape, with free-form pools to explore, and tropical surroundings.
The planning was difficult at times. Being such a new resort, hype and demand is high for hosting your destination wedding at Hotel Xcaret. In the end everything went beautifully, and Racheal said, “The resort was my favorite place I have ever been to, words can’t describe how beautiful it is”.
The recently opened resort takes full advantage of the Riviera Maya region, with contemporary bohemian-like decor, surrounded by unique pools, and with direct access to famous Xcaret Park. By staying at the resort you get access to the thrill park, featuring underground river caves, ziplining, ATV trails and much more. The resort itself features a world-class spa, amazing a-la-carte restaurants, and numerous wedding ceremony venues to explore, like manmade beaches and a chapel that stands high in the sky.
The couple chose to host their wedding ceremony on a private lagoon beach, and Racheal held a grand entrance from behind a cave, keeping her hidden until the moment she walked down the aisle. After, they held a reception at the resort’s Brazilian steakhouse, followed by dancing and a DJ on the beach.
