Wokie and James’ wedding in Jamaica was held at the Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay resort, sitauted along a beautiful beachfront. The Destify Couple originally met as neighbors, and the couple love to play pranks on each other. In fact, that’s kind of how James proposed. By hosting a destination wedding they knew they could cut down on the guestlist while saving tons of money.
Having a destination wedding allowed guests to choose if they’d like to come or not. They chose the Luxury Bahia Principe Resort because it permitted a family-friendly, and an adults-only side of neighboring resorts. The goal was to keep everyone together while still being able to do various activities separately. Nearby, the couple also hosted an excursion which covered a lot of ground in order to explore Jamaica. It included a catamaran cruise, a trip to Dunn’s River Falls, and a stop at Margaritaville for drinks and jerk chicken.
Luxury Bahia Principe Jamaica is a stunning resort in Runaway Bay, near Montego Bay. The resort offers tiered rooms that allow guests to stay with any budget in mind. The resort offers the total Jamaican experience, with white sand beaches, numerous fine dining options, and ceremony venues right along the Caribbean Sea. Exchange privileges grant access to Grand Bahia Jamaica with a second expansive beach, further pools, and more restaurants and bars.
Wokie and James’ wedding in Jamaica featured it all, from a wedding ceremony at the gazebo overlooking the ocean, to a cocktail hour with live music. There was a tented private reception too, with ocean views, a DJ, fire dancers, and even a photo booth. Wokie said, “Everyone danced and danced, for the entire night.”
