At AIC Hotel Group’s recent Showstopper Awards, held at the always stunning Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana, we received our award for becoming a 2018 Amped Diamond Agency. Talk about an upgrade! For over 3 days a select few of our travel agents received the rock star treatment across the resort, where some of our managers participated in a live lip sync battle and attended several other entertaining functions. At the award portion of the event, we found out our upgraded status, from Double Platinum status the year prior, to our newfound Diamond status.
Ash Tembe, Vice President of Global Field Sales for AIC released in a statement this quote, “We have world-class associates, and we want to celebrate them with this very exciting, exclusive event. As a brand, we always do it differently, we want to give our agents the celebrity experience they deserve.”
Our agents were treated to a performance by Joshua Scott Jones opening the Showstopper Awards ceremony. At ORO Nightclub awards were given out by former N*SYNC member Joey Fatone and capped off with a concert by hip-hop star Nelly. In further news we learned that Hard Rock Resorts will be launching Roxcity in the future, an experiential new kids brand featuring pool parties, live shows and more! And if that wasn’t enough we’ve also learned Hard Rock Riviera Maya will be opening their very own waterpark.
